In this occasion, i want to describe you, mean of some symbols in Garuda Indonesia.

Garuda Indonesia Pancasila is the state emblem and the name of an Indonesian national song. This symbol was designed by Sultan Hamid II of Pontianak, which is then refined by President Sukarno. Garuda is the bird in Hindu mythology, while the basic philosophy of Pancasila is the state of Indonesia.

Gold color on the bird symbolizes the triumph of Garuda
Defense shield in the center symbolizing the Indonesian nation
The symbols on the shield symbolize each of the precepts of Pancasila, namely:
Star symbolizes the belief in one supreme God precepts (sila-1)
The chain symbolizes the precepts of Just and civilized humanity (sila-2)
Banyan tree symbolizes the unity of Indonesia precepts (sila to-3)
Populist bull's head symbolizes the precepts Led By The Wisdom of Wisdom In the Consultative / Representative (sila-4)
Rice and Cotton symbolizes the precepts of Social Justice for All Rakyat Indonesia (precepts to-5)
The red color symbolizes the color-white national flag of Indonesia. Red means courage and white means pure
Thick black line across the shield symbolizes the Indonesian region crossed by the Equator Line
Total feathers symbolize the proclamation of Indonesian independence day (August 17, 1945), among others:
The number of feathers on each wing were 17
The number of feathers on the tail were 8
The number of feathers below shield / base of the tail number 19
The number of feathers in the neck has 45
Ribbon reply is gripped by the bird Garuda Indonesia says the state motto, Unity in Diversity is a means "though slightly different, but one".
